As college football fans count down the days to the return of the sport’s most beloved video game franchise, EA Sports has continued to dish out nuggets of information about EA Sports College Football 25.

On Wednesday, the company released the top 100 rated players in the upcoming title, with many familiar faces from area teams making the list.

In Austin, the Texas Longhorns house a pair of top-30 talents in offensive tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. (94 overall, No. 13 ranking) and quarterback Quinn Ewers (92 overall, No. 27 ranking), a cover athlete for the game. Both were the second-highest rated player at their respective positions.

Georgia’s Carson Beck and Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders both received 93 overall ratings, while Ewers and Oklahoma-turned-Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel shared the spotlight at 92 overall.

LSU’s Will Campbell (96 overall) was the only tackle rated higher than Banks.

Among other notable rankings, Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon II — despite his recent issues surrounding a DUI arrest last month — was the highest rated running back in the game with a 96 overall rating. The Euless Trinity product was one of three players to earn a 96, the highest rating given to any player.

Cowboys linebacker Nick Martin also made the list at No. 80 with a 90 overall.

Oklahoma joined its bitter rivals in landing a pair of players in EA Sports’ top 100: Linebacker Danny Stutsman (91 overall, No. 52 ranking) and safety Billy Bowman Jr. (90 overall, No. 94 ranking)
