Synchron, a company leading in brain-computer interfaces, took another step ahead by integrating OpenAI’s ChatGPT into its implantable devices. Their new BCIs, called Stentrode, are implanted near the motor cortex, interpreting brain activity to undertake actions on digital devices. This will enable the person to select ChatGPT AI-generated responses, making communication faster and more intuitive. It’s a giant leap in using AI to enhance the functionality of BCIs, notably in cases of paralysis, to willfully manipulate their digital environment.

The Indian Railway Recruitment Board has invited applications for 7,951 posts from July 30, 2024. This will include Junior Engineers, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistants. Applicants should be between the ages of 18 and 36 years with a degree or diploma in concerned disciplines of engineering. The procedure to apply will be that candidates first register themselves on the RRB website, then fill out the form, and finally pay the fee. The last date for application is August 29, 2024.
