Despite the Detroit Lions’ loss in the NFL Divisional Round, many mid-Michigan football fans will flock to sports bars to watch the Super Bowl next weekend.
Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will take on Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 59 at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9. The game will be played at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

A Genesee County favorite, Sharky’s Sports Bar in Burton has more than 50 televisions. Daily food and drink specials, video games and more make this a go-to spot for the big game.

Recently taken over by two new owners who had their first date at the bar and grill, Coty’s Landing has high tables, booths and plenty of TVs to take in the action.
Coty’s Landing is located at 777 Midland Road in Saginaw. It is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
If you are looking for a nostalgic bar vibe with great food, Mulligan’s Pub in Bay City has you covered for the big game. The pub has a projector to display the game and several other TVs above the bar.
Located at 109 Center Avenue in Bay City, the pub is open from 11 a.m. to midnight on Monday, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.
Known for their pizza, Luigi’s Restaurant and El Toro Sports Bar is the perfect place to watch the Super Bowl. The Flint restaurant has served what it calls the “best” thin crust pizza since 1955.
Luigi’s Restaurant, located at 2132 Davison Road, is open from 10 a.m. to midnight Monday through Friday, noon to midnight on Saturday and noon to 10 p.m. Sundays.
Madden’s Lounge in Davison has more TVs than you can imagine – making it the optimal place to catch the Super Bowl. Madden’s has a unique bar and plenty of snacking options, including fresh, never frozen burgers.
Madden’s is located at 809 North State Road in Davison. The lounge is open from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Wednesday through Saturday and noon to midnight on Sunday through Tuesday.
