We’re back with the top five properties you need to know about this week, helping agents find inspiration and impress their clients. From European townhouses to Indian Ocean resorts, our list is never boring, and always luxurious.
In keeping with that ethos, this week’s lineup features a former royal residence in Morocco, an all-inclusive spa resort in Turkey, and a Pavarotti-approved private island in Malaysia. If that’s not enough material, we’re also bringing you a new safari camp in Kenya and a historic Paris hotel in one of the city’s most genteel neighbourhoods.
Four Seasons has opened its newest hotel, Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr, and in typical style for the luxury brand, it’s all kinds of sublime.
Formerly the summer residence of Sultan Moulay Slimane, this historic property in the Moroccan capital features 200 rooms and suites, many with ocean views, including the opulent three-bedroom Sultan’s riad with its own private terrace and infinity pool.
Guests will have seven dining options, with highlights including Brasserie Marie for French cuisine, Verdello for Mediterranean and Italian dishes, and Flamme for all-day dining. The resort also boasts a spa with a traditional Hamman and an indoor saltwater pool, palatial gardens, an outdoor yoga studio and a 24-hour fitness centre.
Cullinan Belek in Antalya, Turkey gets its name from the world’s largest rough diamond, and it absolutely seems to be living up to that. Nestled between the white sands of the Turkish Riviera and the Taurus mountains, this all-inclusive resort features an 800-metre private beach, a 36-hole golf course, 13 pools, an aqua park, and a kids’ club open until 2am.
Guests can enjoy daily activities like aerial yoga, bowling and boccia, as well as an 8,000 sqm C’Espace Spa with saunas, a plunge pool and a vitamin bar. Guests can pamper themselves with treatments like Ayurvedic massages and Icoone laser therapies, before heading to one of the six restaurants, including Asian, Turkish, and international options.
If your clients are opera fans, this one’s for them. Inspired by former guest Luciano Pavarotti, ‘Opera in Paradise’ will take place for a second year in Pangkor Laut Resort in Malaysia between 18-20 October.
The special package will see the private island host a concert of world-class musicians including Laura Wright, Cathay-Di Zhang, John Longmuir and Andrea Griminelli, as well as daily breakfast, lunch and dinner for two adults at selected restaurants. Pre-concert cocktails at Fisherman’s Cove, a lavish post-concert gala and scheduled speedboat transfers are also included.
Conservation travel company Great Plains has opened its latest Kenya project, Mara Toto Tree Camp, a new addition for its exclusive Reserve-Collection safari camps.
Nestled within a forest canopy overlooking the Ntiakitiak river, the property offers accommodations for up to eight adults across four luxurious tented suites. Guests will have private access to the 26,000-hectare Mara North Conservancy, a wilderness area which has been promoting conservation since 2009.
All suites boast a private lounge and an outdoor veranda for relaxing, as well as light weights and a stationary exercise bike for home workouts with an unbeatable view.
Situated in Saint-Germain-des-Pres in the 7th arrondissement, Le Grand Hotel Cayre is a newly renovated property that was once home to artists, writers, and intellectuals.
With 123 elegant rooms and suites designed with Parisian apartment-style interiors in mind, this is the perfect choice for clients who want an alternative to large luxury branded hotels. Inside, they will find classic French dishes at Annette, the hotel’s brasserie restaurant, and dedicated refresh rooms designed for travellers before check-in and after check-out.
To truly wow clients, book them into the Le Grand Hotel Cayre Suite, which boasts its own lounge and a fully-furnished terrace with views of the Eiffel Tower.
