The NBA has finalized the rosters for the upcoming All-Star game in San Francisco and quite a few deserving players were missing from the group. Every year, some players should have been named All-Stars that don’t make the cut.

But which are the top snubs from the rosters? Here are the top five biggest snubs from this season:
With all the injuries that the 76ers have suffered this season, Maxey has been the consistent presence. The guard has stepped up his game immensely and carried this Philadephia squad all year long.
For the season, he is averaging 27.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.9 steals per contest. Maxey will have to wait until next season to make his second career All-Star team.
Young was another very surprising omission from the East reserves after the strong year he has put up. The Hawks guard has averaged 22.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 11.3 assists per game.
Many believe that he should have been named to the All-Star team but his quest for his fourth selection will have to wait. Young will now focus on helping the Hawks try to reach the postseason this year.
Lost in a sea of star players is Powell, who has quietly put together a strong season. Powel has averaged 24.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.4 steals per game for Los Angeles.
Without star Kawhi Leonard for the first part of the season, Powell helped the Clipper stay relevant on the floor. This has easily been the best season that he has put together and he is one of the biggest snubs across the association.
Irving has averaged 24.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.2 steals per game this season. The veteran has had to play the last month-plus without co-star Luka Doncic, keeping the Mavericks alive in the West standings.
Irving has been playing great of late and deserved to make the team. This would have been his ninth All-Star appearance if he had been selected.
At this point, I’m not sure what else Ball has to do to become an All-Star again. For the season, he is averaging 28.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 7.3 assists.
While the Hornets aren’t a very good team, Ball has been their main bright spot. The guard has dominated on the floor this season and deserved much better than to miss out on being named to the All-Star team.
