The new NFL schedule just dropped which means we are that much closer to football starting back up. Fans have been waiting for this since the Super Bowl ended, and each team has a certain feeling of hope that this could be the year they hoist up the Lombardi Trophy. However, only one team can win the title and the Kansas City Chiefs will be going for a three-peat. No team in NFL history has ever won three straight titles, so Kansas City has a chance to make some history.

Naturally, they received plenty of primetime exposure this season. In fact, they will be playing a football game on six of the seven days of a week. People want to see the Chiefs but sometimes seeing the same teams can get very old. Seeing new blood on primetime helps grow the game and the NFL does primetime very well.
One of the best parts of the NFL season is Monday Night Football, something many tune in to watch every week. But which games are the best on the upcoming schedule? Fans are tuned into the best matchups like crazy, but here are the three most underrated games on the Monday Night Football schedule for the year.
While both of these teams aren’t considered Super Bowl contenders entering the year, they both should be better than they were last season. Los Angeles brought in new head coach Jim Harbaugh to take the reins, while Arizona should have more health with quarterback Kyler Murray.

Adding in that Arizona also has a potential star rookie at the wide receiver position, Marvin Harrison Jr., and this game could be very fun.
At first glance, many will tune away due to the Commanders being here, but they have some excitement heading into a season for the first time in a long time. Not only does Washington have a new owner and head coach, but also a quarterback. Taking Jayden Daniels No. 2 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft gives this team a path forward and this will be the first primetime exposure of his career.
With them playing the Bengals, it will be a battle of Heisman Trophy winners from LSU. Daniels will face off against Joe Burrow, with all eyes on him this season to see how he bounces back from an injury-riddled year. Don’t sleep on this game, or you may miss a fun shootout performance.
The Lions enter the season ready to push forward even more after winning their first playoff game in over 30 years and reaching the NFC Championship game. Anytime they are on primetime, people will tune in but it’s the opponent that makes this game underrated here.
Seattle has found ways to stay competitive over the years, even when they haven’t had the best roster. Quarterback Geno Smith is a great story that many fans have latched onto, and they should be able to give the Lions a tough fight. The Seahawks have a few weapons on offense that may cause issues for the Lions defense, giving us a potentially grind-it-out battle early on.
