The Russia-Ukraine war has intensified with Moscow launching two ballistic missiles on the Ukrainian city of Poltava, killing more than 50 people and injuring 235 others. This strike appeared to be one of the deadliest carried out by Russian forces since the war began on February 24, 2022.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reacted sharply to the United Kingdom’s decision to suspend some arms sales to his country. In a post on social media platform X, Prime Minister Netanyahu said that the UK’s decision was ‘shameful’.
