NEW DELHI: India’s finest sporting champions will gather under one roof for the Times of India Sports Awards (TOISA) 2024, set to take place in Lucknow on February 22.
Celebrating the nation’s top athletes and their unwavering determination, the seventh edition of TOISA will honour those who delivered standout performances in 2024.
The assessment period for the awards was from January 1 to December 31, 2024 and the list of award winners was drawn by the eminent TOISA 2024 Jury.

In 2024, India’s equestrian performance reached a historic milestone at the Paris Olympics. Anush Agarwalla became the first Indian to compete in the individual dressage event at the Olympic Games.
Competing with his horse, Sir Caramello Old, Agarwalla participated in the Grand Prix qualifiers on July 30, 2024, at the Palace of Versailles. He scored 66.444, placing ninth in his group of ten riders, which did not advance him to the next round.
Despite not securing a medal, Agarwalla’s participation marked a significant achievement for Indian equestrian sports, highlighting the country’s growing presence in the discipline.
