The successful applicant will be required to answer any customers technical questions and general shop duties as required including: assembling, and selling quality branded mountain, road, leisure and children’s bicycles.

Cycle Workshop Trainer – Activate Learning
Activate Cycle Academy are the UK’s foremost training organisation for Cytech commercial and Apprenticeship based Cycle Mechanic Training. We are looking to recruit a Workshop Trainer for our Darlington based Cytech Cycle Mechanic Workshop in the NE of England.
We are looking for a self-motivated expert within the Cycle Industry that can deliver innovative training to our diverse group of learners. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has vast amount of experience/knowledge within the cycle industry and enjoys mentoring others that shares the same passion for bikes.
As well as training, you will have personal input into the ongoing design and delivery of the Cytech Training delivery and into the Cycle Mechanic Apprenticeship Standard delivery and be an advocate not only for our business but also for Cycling in general. This is a full time, permanent contract. Occasional weekend working may be required, along with occasional PR activity such as attending Bike Shows, you may also be required to undertake field based commercial Cytech assessments.
Workshop and Warranty Manager – Temple Cycles

We’re looking for a talented person to join our team as a Workshop and Warranty Manager. The first and main aspect of this role is to manage our Bristol workshop team and ensure Bristol production runs smoothly, efficiently and to the standard our customers expect. This will involve scheduling bike assembly production, order processing, counting stock, laying out the warehouse in the most efficient way, taking in deliveries of all sizes, communicating with other departments and occasionally getting stuck into some bike building yourself, particularly in peak times.
The second aspect of the job is processing warranty claims. This involves assessing and resolving warranty claims in a time-efficient manner to ensure we’re providing a great service to our customers and partners.
Senior Bicycle Mechanic – Giant Paddock Wood
We are looking for someone to take over the running of our busy workshop in Paddock Wood. This is a great opportunity for someone to take the workshop forward as their very own well-oiled machine. The workshop operates well with a senior mechanic and an apprentice (currently working toward Cytech 2 in bike mechanics).
Our Paddock Wood store sells and services some incredible bikes, so the work is varied and the customers friendly and affluent. This role will suit an experienced mechanic looking to work in a comprehensively equipped workshop, within a friendly store team to support our loyal customers.
