The AFC North, previously the AFC Central, has always had strong rivalries. In the early ‘70s, Browns-Steelers stood out. By the end of the decade, the Steelers and Oilers met in consecutive AFC Championships.
There is always a “player and/or team in the best shape of their lives,” and we have read about this with both Najee Harris and DeMarvin Leal. These ones always make me laugh because most of these players come into the season in great shape.

Slot cornerback
It’s hard to make a logical argument that any other position on the team is as weak as the slot cornerback position. On the boundary, the Steelers have a lot going for them. Joey Porter Jr. looks like a budding star, they added a capable veteran in Donte Jackson, and they have a trio of young, long, and athletic cornerbacks in Cory Trice, Darius Rush, and Ryan Watts.
