President Bola Tinubu is currently presiding over a Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, which is expected to unveil a new infrastructure development policy for the country.
BusinessDay gathered that the meeting will come up with a new infrastructure development policy as part of the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

As of the time of filing this report, several heads of federal government agencies, including those of the Economic and Financial Crimes (EFCC), the Nigeria Correctional Service, formerly known as Nigerian Prisons Service, and other security agencies were lined up to brief the Council.
BusinessDay also gathered that the two agencies whose roles are critical to internal security were invited to brief the Council on measures to tighten internal security.
Recall that the Nigeria Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) had recently unveiled names of terrorism financiers, some of who were said to have escaped from the Correctional Centers.

The Federal Executive Council meeting which the Cabinet office coordinates in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation SGF is responsible for formulating policies for implementation by the federal government’s Ministries, Departments and Agencies MDAs.
