Sabre Hospitality has joined forces with Loco Partners to enhance global access to Japanese hotels and ryokan accommodations. This partnership will integrate these properties into Sabre’s Global Distribution System (GDS), making them more accessible to international travel agencies.
Many unique hotels in Japan have remained off major GDS platforms, limiting their reach. Now, through Loco Partners, these properties can connect with global travelers, boosting visibility and bookings. Travel agents worldwide will gain seamless access to high-quality Japanese accommodations, including traditional ryokan stays.
Frank Trampert, SVP , Sabre Hospitality, emphasised Japan’s importance, “This agreement is a strategic step to drive technological advancement for Japanese hoteliers while expanding global accessibility to Japan’s diverse accommodations.”
Koji Washino, CEO, Loco Partners, echoed this excitement, “Our mission is to showcase Japan’s hospitality to a global audience. This collaboration will enhance traveller experiences and open new opportunities for the industry.”
With GDS Distribution as part of Sabre Hospitality’s Distribution Studio, this partnership ensures efficiency, accuracy, and increased revenue potential for hotels in Japan, setting a new benchmark for international hospitality integration.
