Jalen Johnson and the Atlanta Hawks soared to a fifth consecutive win on Wednesday after beating the Milwaukee Bucks 119-104 on their homecourt. JJ continues his rise to stardom in his fourth year, as he’s averaging career-highs across the board with 20.1 points, 9.9 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.1 blocks in 36 minutes a game.
Atlanta attacked the basket all night long, finishing with a +30 advantage from points in the paint (64-34).

Franz Wagner led Orlando to a gritty win over Philly with 35 points (12-23 FG), his second straight game with at least 30 points. The Magic get their 13th win in their last 15 games, now sitting at 16-8 on the season.
Jared McCain and the Sixers went on a 13-5 run late in the fourth, but they fell just short of the comeback, losing 106-102. McCain led Philadelphia with 24 points, seven rebounds and three assists.

Tyler Herro could not miss in the third quarter, scoring 21 points while draining seven 3s, a career-high mark in a single quarter for the sixth-year man out of Kentucky. He finished with 31 points and nine made 3s, the second time in the last three games in which he scored 31. Miami cruised to a 134-93 win at home.
