Every year the NFL releases a list of the top 100 players from the prior season. This list is compiled based on votes from the current players actively on NFL rosters. Once all the votes are tallied the top 100 vote getters find themselves enshrined in the list for all time.
Gone are the days when J.J. Watt, Andre Johnson, Arian Foster and others found themselves on this list every year.
Now, the new crop of Texans players enter their own era of annual recognition.
Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud, wide receivers Nico Collins, Tank Dell and Stefan Diggs, tailback Joe Mixon, left tackle Laremy Tunsil, defensive linemen Will Anderson Jr., Danielle Hunter and cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. might all find their names on the list this year.

INGLEWOOD, Calif. — July 10, 2024 — For the 14th consecutive year, current players voted to determine the Top 100 players in the NFL. Produced by NFL Films, “The Top 100 Players of 2024” provides an inside look at all of the stars around the league entering the 2024 season.
“The Top 100 Players of 2024” premieres Monday, July 22 at noon ET on NFL+ with players ranked No. 100-81, and continues with 10 players revealed weekdays through Wednesday, July 31. The top 10 will be announced on Friday, Aug. 2 at 8 p.m. ET live on NFL Network.
Before the top 10 are revealed, “The Top 100 Players of 2024: #100-11” airs on NFL Network on Wednesday, July 31 at 8 p.m. ET, recapping this year’s list thus far.
