The 2024 NFL schedule has been released and prime-time games are always one of the biggest draws.
Teams are no longer required to appear in at least one Thursday Night Football game, so not every franchise is guaranteed a prime-time slot. Such is the case for one team in 2024 without a single game under the bright lights.
And then there are teams like the Chiefs, who will be a mainstay on NFL prime-time once again this season with a plethora of marquee games. They are joined by other title contenders who will have several chances to showcase their talents in front of a national audience.
For a breakdown of the most and least prime-time games in the 2024 NFL season, The Sporting News has you covered below.

The 49ers, Cowboys and Jets will be featured in NFL prime-time games more than any other teams in 2024 — six times for each squad.
San Francisco enters 2024 with a sour taste in its mouth. After a dominant showing throughout the season, Kyle Shanahan’s crew let a Super Bowl slip away against Kansas City. The 49ers expect to be the favorites out of the NFC yet again.
There’s no market quite like Dallas, and the NFL rewards that fan base with six prime-time games in 2024. The Cowboys won the NFC East, with Dak Prescott enjoying a sensational 2023 campaign. However, Dallas fell short when it mattered, as Green Bay blew them out in the wild-card round. The expectations are once again high down south, with a Super Bowl once again the goal for the ‘Boys.
The surprise inclusion here are the Jets. The NFL is going all-in on the Aaron Rodgers revenge tour, giving New York six matchups under the bright lights. Rodgers lasted just four plays last season, his first as a member of the Jets, before tearing his Achilles. Now, the four-time MVP is aiming to get a full season at the helm of New York.

Only one is without a prime-time game in 2024 — the Panthers.
Carolina finished with the worst record in the league last season and lack the level of star power that other NFL teams have — especially after trading away edge rusher Brian Burns. Despite Bryce Young entering his second year at the helm of the Panthers, he won’t showcase his talent on national television.
The Colts, Patriots, Cardinals and Titans all are going to be featured just once in prime time. New England, Tennessee and Arizona are once again expected to be among the worst teams in the league. However, Indianapolis not getting multiple games on the prime-time schedule is an odd one, considering the return of electrifying rookie Anthony Richardson.
You can find the five teams with the fewest prime-time games in 2024 below.

1. | Carolina Panthers | 0 |
