Haryana Announces 10% Quota For Agniveers In Government Jobs, Interest-Free Loan Up To Rs 5 Lakh
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has announced a 10% reservation for Agniveers in the state government jobs and interest-free Loan up to Rs 5 lakh. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi implemented the Agnipath scheme on June 14, 2022. Under this scheme, Agniveer is deployed in the Indian Army for 4 years. Our government will provide 10% horizontal reservation to Agniveers in Haryana in direct recruitment to the posts of Constable, Mining Guard, Forest Guard, Jail Warden and SPO recruited by the state government,” Nayab Singh Saini said. Nasscom on Wednesday raised concerns over the Karnataka Bill on 100% private sector employment reservation for Kannadigas in Group C and D jobs, which has been cleared by the state’s Cabinet, and said it could hamper the growth of the industry, impact jobs, and force companies to relocate.
