The 2025 NBA All-Star Game rosters are complete after Inside The NBA analysts Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith made their draft picks on Thursday evening.
This year, the NBA All-Star Game will feature a four-team tournament with eight players apiece. Three of the teams will feature a total 24 NBA All-Stars. The fourth team will be the winner of Castrol Rising Stars, a four-team tournament featuring three squads of top NBA rookies and second-year players and a fourth squad of G-League stars.
Rising Stars takes place on Friday, Feb. 14, with the All-Star tournament occurring two days later.
Barkley, O’Neal and Smith are the de-facto general managers of their teams after selecting the squads, while Candace Parker will serve as the GM of the winning Rising Stars team.
Here’s a look at the rosters as well as how the draft shook out. Numbers next to the players indicate where they were selected in the snake-style draft. Asterisks denote players who were honored as All-Star starters.

On paper, this tournament looks like a two-team battle between Barkley and O’Neal’s squads.
Barkley’s squad has the top three MVP candidates right now in Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokić, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.
And then there’s a potential future MVP in San Antonio Spurs big man Victor Wembanyama, a rising star who could find himself as the game’s top star soon enough.
Six-time All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell will also appear in the backcourt, where he’ll pair with Gilgeous-Alexander. Those two lead the top two teams in the NBA standings right now and could very well face each other in the Finals in June.
O’Neal’s team has a bunch of legends, and one can argue everyone on that squad is a future Hall of Famer. LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant will join forces again after previously leading Team USA to a gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
James will also team up again with Davis, who was shockingly traded to the Dallas Mavericks in a blockbuster deal for Luka Dončić.
Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum is now going to an All-Star Game with an NBA title under his belt. The same goes for C’s teammate (and All-Star teammate) Jaylen Brown, and those two together could help lead Team Shaq to victory.
Team Kenny doesn’t look as formidable as the other two, but it’s still loaded nonetheless. Anthony Edwards is a killer who could very well take this tournament over offensively. The same goes for New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson.
There’s some great balance on the Team Kenny squad with two defensive superstars in Jaren Jackson Jr. and Evan Mobley patrolling down low. This team also had solid depth at guard with Darius Garland, Cade Cunningham and Tyler Herro.
This year’s All-Star tournament begins on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 8:20 p.m. ET with the first semifinal from San Francisco’s Chase Center, the home of the Golden State Warriors. The next semifinal will go down, followed by the finals.
Games won’t be timed. Instead, the first team to hit or surpass 40 points wins the game in each round.
