On the work front, Mrunal Thakur has been part of multiple Indian-language films and series, including Nadin, Made in Heaven 2, Gumraah, Lust Stories 2, Pippa, Hi Nanna, The Family Star and Kalki 2898 AD. Next, she will be seen in the role of “Pooja” in the upcoming Hindi film Pooja Meri Jaan, which is in its post-production stages. Apart from that, she has Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, Son of Sardaar 2 and Tum Ho Toh, all of which are scheduled for a release in 2025.
On Diwali, Mrunal Thakur reunited with her TV show Kumkum Bhagya co-star Arjit Taneja, who played her on-screen love interest, Purab. They met at Ektaa Kapoor’s Diwali bash, where Mrunal shared a selfie with him on her Instagram Stories. In the photo, Mrunal looked stunning in an intricately embroidered black outfit, while Arjit complemented her in a classic black kurta. The duo happily posed for the camera, and while sharing the picture, Mrunal captioned it “Rabul,” blending the names of their Kumkum Bhagya characters. Arjit later reshared the photo, adding, “Don’t use the F word.” Arjit is currently part of the TV show, Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye, co-starring Sriti Jha.
