College football’s winter transfer portal window is open, with nearly 750 FBS scholarship players entering Monday. Players have until Dec. 28 to put their name in the portal. It doesn’t mean they have to find their new schools by then — or that they can’t return to their previous schools — but they have 20 days to decide whether they want to be in the portal.
A few notable players who have entered the portal include quarterbacks Miller Moss (USC), Jackson Arnold (Oklahoma) and Conner Weigman (Texas A&M), who rank at the top of ESPN’s list of transfer signal-callers. Former five-star receiver recruit Micah Hudson (Texas Tech) is in the portal, along with wideout Kevin Concepcion (NC State), who was the ACC’s 2023 rookie of the year. Defensive tackle Jehiem Oatis (Alabama) will be one of the most coveted defenders on the move.
