LG Energy Solution (LGES) recently held a Battery Tech Conference (BTC) in Seoul, South Korea to recruit top talent. The South Korean company wants to “write a new history” for battery technology as it aims to grow in the industry.
“Let’s write a new history. We will actively support our employees so they can maximize their potential. LG Energy Solution is a leading battery company in which any staff member can achieve their dreams and goals,” said LG Energy Solution’s CEO Kim Dong-myung.
LGES invited a group of 30 top-level battery experts with master’s degrees and doctorates in the field to the Battery Tech Conference this year. The BTC is an annual event the company holds to recruit more researchers and developers to its forces.
Earlier this year, LGES held a global Battery Tech Conference in New York to attract talent abroad. The company has production facilities in the United States. It has supply agreements with Tesla and General Motors.
“I gained a deeper understanding of the firm’s technological prowess by listening to its specific business portfolio and research outcomes. The company appears to have high potential and offers endless opportunities for employee growth,” commented one participant who attended the BTC in South Korea.
An LGES spokesperson announced that a few attendees joined the company after the Battery Tech Conference.
