Lawyers at Lindsays have sat down with one of Scotland’s leading broadcasters to help talk people through the impact of life-shaping decisions.
Insight and advice on how to manage a range of important personal legal moments – including, marriage, separation and ensuring your wishes are followed in Wills – is shared by solicitors from the firm in a new video series presented by Rona Dougall.
The first episode – available to watch at www.lindsays.co.uk – sees Family Law Partner Nina Taylor and Private Client Partner Alison McKay chat through the dynamics of modern families and their impact on peoples’ legal affairs.
Others in the With you on your journey through life series will feature advice on the legal implications of couples living together, prenups, postnups and separating respect.
Nina, who is also the Chair of Lindsays, said: “It was really interesting to sit down with Rona and explore how some of the key moments in our lives personally can also have a very real impact on us legally – a fact which people often overlook.
“Whether for happy or more challenging reasons, it’s important that everyone understands why careful, tailored and reasoned legal advice can make a significant difference to their lives.
“We pride ourselves at Lindsays on being people-centred and sharing our advice and experience in a relatable way. We hope this series shows how open we are.”
Rona is one of Scotland’s most respected journalists and broadcasters. Her work includes presenting STV’s flagship current affairs programme Scotland Tonight as well as being a columnist for the Sunday Post. She is a former Scotland Correspondent for Sky News.
The other lawyers who will feature in the initial five-part series are Partner and Head of Family Alison McKee, Family solicitors Paige Burton and Philippa Abernethy and Private Client lawyer Amy Docherty.
