Amazon Big Deal Days sale
Bargain hunters have an exciting few hours ahead with Amazon’s latest sale event heading into day two. The online retailer’s Big Deal Days bonanza continues until midnight tonight, October 9, so there’s still plenty of time to bag a discount – and there are thousands to choose from.
If you don’t have time to click through endless Amazon shopping pages, Express.co.uk has been checking out all of the best deals and found our top 10 picks which include phones, tablets, speakers, fitness trackers and TVs.
Just remember that deals all end at midnight tonight and you will need a Prime account to take advantage. Happy shopping!
Amazon deal as Fitbits dropped in price
Fitbit has several of its trackers on sale as part of the Prime Big Deal Days event, but our pick of the bunch is the cheapest, the Fitbit Inspire 3. If you want a simple, subtle and lightweight fitness band to wear for days on end to record steps, heart rate, sleep and more, it’s a great choice.
The battery lasts a claimed 10 days and it’s fully waterproof so you can wear it in the shower or the pool. The colour screen is small but shows you the time and your health stats, which are reflected in the free Fitbit app for iPhone or Android. The Inspire 3 also comes with six months’ free subscription to Fitbit Premium, which unlocks more functionality.
If you’re after an Apple iPad but don’t need the latest (and expensive) models, look no further than this great offer on the 9th-gen iPad. It may not have the most modern design but its 10.2-inch Retina display is big and bright enough to satisfy the needs of even the pickiest Netflix addict.
It’s still powerful enough to let you plough through emails, browse the web, hit up YouTube and download as many apps as you can fit onto the 64GB device. This is the lowest price Amazon has ever sold this iPad for, so it’s a great deal.
Amazon Prime Beats deal
This is an excellent price for the Beats Fit Pro, some of the best exercise-orientated earbuds on the market. Apple-owned Beats sells these for £219.99, so this is a solid saving. They pair very easily with iPhones, iPads and Macs with the ease and tech of AirPods, but also work with any Bluetooth device.
The in-ear buds are comfortable with great sound and they have active noise cancellation and transparency modes to block out or let in sound respectively. Unlike any AirPods, they have rubber wing tips to keep the buds secure in your ears when working out, plus they’re sweatproof.
Amazon deals Tile tracker
If you are forever misplacing your keys or know someone who does, you can’t go wrong with the Tile Pro tracker. Reduced to £19.99, this Bluetooth gadget clips easily onto keys, bags or other items and connects to the Tile app for Android and iPhone. If you can’t find what it’s attached to, you can use the app to ring it and its little alarm will beep away so you can leave the house on time.
It has a long 120 metre range and is waterproof. Tile also has a feature where you can view on a map where you last had the tracker near you, hopefully helping you locate it. If someone finds your Tile they can also report it lost by scanning the QR code on the back to access your contact information.
Amazon deal with Nothing Phone on offer
An affordable, stylish Android phone with flashing lights on the back and well-designed software for less than £300? That’s what’s on offer here with the Nothing Phone 2a, a phone we awarded four stars to in our full review earlier this year. At just £271 it’s a great choice if you want value for money but also want a phone that stands out from the crowd.
The Phone 2a has clean Android 14 software with a lightweight build but a large 6.7-inch OLED screen. Battery life is great, and the dual cameras are good considering the price.
Amazon Deal Kindle Scribe
If your current Kindle feels a little past its best then it could be the perfect time to upgrade. The ultimate and top of the range Kindle Scribe has been slashed in price for Big Deal Days with £100 off.
This very smart e-reader gets a giant 10.2-inch 300PPI screen and a special pen which turns it into a digital notepad. You can even write notes and turn them into fully editable text plus there’s a front light so you can read and write in the dark.
Before the Prime Day sale started, the Scribe was a whopping £329. It can now be yours for just £229.
Fancy a new TV without paying premium prices? Amazon has slashed the cost of its own-brand screens to a new low with things now starting from just £139.99. That’s for the 2-Series model which features a 32-inch 720p display that is powered by the popular Fire TV operating system. It’s a deal that’s so cheap, that Amazon will only let you buy one of them.
That means there’s easy access to premium and free apps such as Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+ and Freevee. You’ll also get Alexa built-in making it easy to control things, search for content and even switch off the display and lights in the room using just your voice.
Amazon has dropped the price of the Echo Spot
It only launched late this year but Amazon is offering a big discount on its rebooted Echo Spot smart speaker. This mini music maker gets a loud speaker with deep bass, a neat display which shows the time and information plus full access to Alexa so you can shout orders at it and get a useful reply.
It comes in three colours including White, Blue and Black and will cost £79.99 once Prime Day has ended. Right now it’s been reduced to just £49.99. If you buy it, it will start shipping next week.
It’s very rare to find deals on Sonos gear but that’s exactly what Amazon has on offer right now. The online retailer is currently dishing out the popular Beam soundbar for almost half the usual price. That 23 percent discount means you’ll pay just £322 for this TV boosting tech – that’s almost £100 off.
Along with making your nightly movie marathons more exciting, the Ray will also link up to your other Sonos devices for a multi-room audio experience.
Amazon Remote Pro is discounted
Want to add some Sky-style features to your Fire TV Stick? The Alexa Voice Remote Pro does just that with this neat accessory including backlit keys, customisable buttons an in-built alarm that belts out a sound should you lose the controller down the side of the sofa.
It also gets one-touch pairing for headphones plus all the usual quick keys for finding content, launching apps and summoning Alexa.
Like the sound of these deals? The only thing to be aware of is that these discounts are exclusive for Prime members as part of Prime Day – that’s a subscription plan that costs £8.99 per month. Luckily, that price can be avoided by signing up and getting one month for free.
“We’re giving you 30 days of Prime for £8.99 FREE. Unlimited delivery, award-winning TV shows, exclusive deals, and more,” Amazon explained on its sign-up page.
If that sounds enticing you can join Prime here – just remember, if you forget to cancel you will be charged £8.99 per month once the freebie ends.
Amazon isn’t the only retailer offering discounts on its site. This week rival sites including Argos, Lenovo, John Lewis, and Currys are offering price drops across mobile and laptops, so it’s worth looking here before you buy.
