In a list that includes film stars and fellow sports icons, the Delhi-born cricketer has been on the upper end of the list of tax-payers.
As per a Fortune India report, former India captain Kohli is the fifth-highest tax-paying celebrity in India. In the cricketer’s list, MS Dhoni follows Kohli in close-second, while ‘Master Blaster’ Sachin Tendulkar is also a part of the coveted list.

Virat Kohli pays an income tax of 66 Crore Indian Rupees to the Union Government. The act and the figure show the responsibility of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru star towards the nation.
Kohli is fifth on the list topped by Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. SRK is the highest tax-paying celebrity, with a sum of INR 92 Crores. MS Dhoni, the second-highest tax-paying cricketer, gives a sum of INR 38 Crores to the Indian government. Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Hardik Pandya makes the top five list of cricketers.
