After finishing fourth in District 11-6A, DeSoto (20-16) overcame a 27-19 halftime deficit and reached at least the third round of the playoffs for the seventh straight year. That streak included winning state titles in 2021 and 2022 and finishing as the state runner-up in 2019 and 2023.
