Hardik Pandya has moved to the top spot of the ICC T20 International (T20I) rankings for all-rounders after a stellar show in the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2024. He is the first Indian all-rounder to reach the summit. Pandya slammed 144 runs at a strike rate of 151.15 and, with the ball, picked up 11 wickets at an economy rate of 7.64. He occupies the top spot with Sri Lanka skipper Wanindu Hasaranga – both tied on 222 rating points.
Pandya is the only Indian all-rounder in the top 10, but Axar Patel is not far behind, jumping seven spots to 12th after picking up nine wickets and scoring 92 runs in the marquee event.
Among the bowlers, Anrich Nortje jumps to the second spot, behind Adil Rasid, after finishing as the leading wicket-taker in the T20 World Cup for South Africa with 15 scalps, while Kuldeep Yadav breaks into the top 10. Player of the Tournament Jasprit Bumrah has jumped up 12 spots and is currently in 12th place.
Travis Head continues to be the No. 1 ranked batter in the format, while the West Indies duo of Brandon King and Johnson Charles jump to the eighth and ninth spot, respectively. Suryakumar Yadav and Yashasvi Jaiswal are the only two batters from India in the top 10.
