Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca on whether recalled defender Aaron Anselmino will feature: “No, still too early. Plan for him
is to try to put him in condition for minutes in the future, not now.

“He had some
injury while there [in Argentina]. It is important for him to
come here, adapt to English weather, English football and then from there we
start to use him.”

On if fringe players like Ben Chilwell will get minutes in the FA Cup: “Chilwell in this moment is also
thinking he is probably going to leave,
so it is better to avoid using him to avoid that situation of injury. So plan is not
to use Ben tomorrow.”

Maresca also confirmed that Cesare Casadei “will
not be in squad tomorrow”: “Cesare did
not get minutes with us, not because he is not good, he is good player, but we have [Moises] Caicedo, Romeo Lavia in the same position. Casadei showed how good he is in the Conference League but we have players in that
position and he unfortunately did not get minutes.”
