Five Pittsburgh Steelers have been named among the top 100 free agents for the 2025 NFL season by NFL Trade Rumors.
Quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Justin Fields, running back Najee Harris and offensive linemen James Daniels and Dan Moore Jr. are all among the top 100 free agents.
Wilson is the highest-rated of the five, checking in as the No. 11 free agent, and the second-ranked quarterback, behind only Sam Darnold of the Minnesota Vikings.
Fields, who backed up Wilson all season for the Steelers, isn’t far behind. He’s ranked as the No. 22 overall player, and is the third quarterback behind Darnold and Wilson.
Darnold is the No. 2 overall free agent, behind only Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins. The only other quarterback listed is Cleveland Browns backup Jameis Winston, the No. 66 free agent.
Harris is ranked as the No. 35 free agent, leading what is not a particularly deep running back class. Vikings back Aaron Jones is right behind him at No. 37. JK Dobbins of the Los Angeles Chargers, Javonte Williams of the Denver Broncos, Rico Dowdle of the Dallas Cowboys, AJ Dillon of the Green Bay Packers and Nick Chubb of the Cleveland Browns are all in the back half of the top 100.
Daniels is the No. 53 overall player in what is a deep pool of guards. Trey Smith of the Kansas City Chiefs is the third-ranked player overall, with Chicago Bears guard Teven Jenkins at No. 13, Kevin Zeitler of the Detroit Lions at No. 43, Will Fries of the Indianapolis Colts at No. 53 and Zack Martin of the Dallas Cowboys at No. 76.
Moore is the No. 77 player in the free agent class, in a big pack of tackles. Los Angeles Rams starter Aleric Jackson is the highest rated at No. 9, followed by Baltimore Ravens tackle Ronnie Stanley at No. 10, Cam Robinson of the Minnesota Vikings at No. 26, Mekhi Becton of the Philadelphia Eagles at No. 26, Trent Brown of the Cincinnati Bengals at No. 73, Dillon Radon of the Tennessee Titans at No. 78 and Patrick Mekari of the Baltimore Ravens at No. 79.
The Steelers have 24 total free agents pending for the 2025 offseason. Those players will become free agents on the start of the new league year in March. Until then, teams have exclusive negotiating rights with their own free agents.
