An alarming post from Kyren Lacy resurfaced amid the negligent homicide charge on the top NFL prospect.
According to WAFB, the Louisiana State Police issued a warrant of arrest for the former LSU Tiger. Lacy is wanted on charges of negligent homicide and felony hit-and-run.
Police documents state that Lacy ‘recklessly passed multiple vehicles at a high rate of speed’ on December 17. His driving allegedly forced two vehicles in a northbound lane to swerve away from him before one collided head-on with a southbound car.
Despite the crash, Lacy reportedly drove away without reporting to the authorities.
As more information about the incident continued to emerge, fans discovered a concerning tweet from Lacy in 2023.
In the post, he wrote, ‘Ima kill everybody that line up in front of me….’

While nobody knows what the wide receiver was referring to or quoting in the tweet, fans were made uneasy given the circumstances.
The police documents states, ‘Following the crash, Lacy drove around the crash scene and fled south on LA Hwy 20 without stopping to render aid, call emergency services, or report his involvement in the crash.’
One of the passengers involved, Herman Hall, was critically injured and passed away after being taken to the hospital. It was later revealed that the 78-year-old was a former US Marine.
Just two days after the crash, Lacy declared for the NFL Draft.
‘THANK YOU! LSU has truly made a big impact on my life on and off the field, these past 3 years,’ Lacy wrote in his statement. ‘Playing in Death Valley, for the best fans in the country, was an experience | will never forget.
‘Not too many people get to fulfill a dream like this,’ he continued. ‘I am forever grateful for it.’
Before joining the LSU Tigers, Lacy spent two seasons with the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns. He had 162 receptions for 2,360 yards and 26 touchdowns in his collegiate career.
