Elijah Moore has high expectations for the Browns offense in 2024.
Moore is back in Cleveland for his second year since his trade from the Jets in 2023 and Amari Cooper is coming off back-to-back 1,000-yard receiving seasons since he joined the Browns in 2022. Quarterback Deshaun Watson is also expected to fully recover from his mid-season shoulder surgery that ended his year after only six games in 10 weeks.
The Browns didn’t rest on their laurels, though, and traded for Jerry Jeudy as well this offseason to give Watson a quality trio of receivers alongside tight end David Njoku.

Moore called Cleveland’s receivers “a crazy group” following the Jeudy trade and added that he believes the Browns have a “more explosive” offense and the best overall receiver room in the NFL heading into this season.
“Number one,” Moore said when asked about where he’d rank the Browns’ pass-catchers. “If you’re not thinking that, you shouldn’t be playing. Number one. We got a crazy group.”

Now, some teams in the NFL would disagree with that. The Texans boast arguably the best trio in Stefon Diggs, Nico Collins and Tank Dell. The Seahawks have D.K. Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The Bears even have a great core in Keenan Allen, D.J. Moore and No. 9 overall pick Rome Odunze.
But the Browns are certainly among the best. Cooper is a five-time Pro Bowler and perennial 1,000-yard receiver, Moore put together a career year in 2023 with more than 600 receiving yards despite playing with five different quarterbacks and Jeudy averages around 760 receiving yards per year. Not many teams can boast that kind of depth.
Everything will boil down to Watson, though. If he can play up to the level the Browns expected from him when they gave up a haul of picks and a fully guaranteed deal in 2022, then Cleveland has a good chance to return to the postseason in 2024.
