Are you looking for fresh talent to help upscale your business? Or tap into the best networking opportunities in the Leeds networking ecosystem to recruit skilled workers at all levels? Then claim your place in Top Tech Yorkshire 2025.
Top Tech Yorkshire 2025 (Top Tech), in partnership with TheBusinessDesk.com, is offering Yorkshire technology companies membership to a unique programme in the Yorkshire eco-system.
Top Tech provides networking, profile-raising, and mentoring opportunities to companies in the region which have developed world-leading technology, are using technology to disrupt markets, or whose technology and services are helping others become leaders in their fields.
As a member of Top Tech, Yorkshire technology companies will become part of a thriving community, with direct access to a group of mentors and supporters who rank among some of the region’s leading technology entrepreneurs, advisers and service providers.
Yorkshire is a hotbed for innovation and many of our technology businesses are putting the region on the world stage as a centre of excellence. However, for our technology companies to thrive and meet their strategic goals, they need new talent at all levels to give them a competitive edge. In a cutthroat skills market, companies also need to keep their talent pool through engagement and empowerment. Bringing in new talent at board level can help fast-track companies’ commercial vision. They can also help secure investment, advise on corporate governance, act as a sounding board, innovate and add unique skills that your business needs to scale up.
Several of our mentors have unrivalled expertise in recruitment in the technology sector, including Ross Webster of Board Equity, who said: “Having spent the last 20 years building boards for investor backed and privately owned high growth businesses, I understand the board dynamics of what good looks like in a scaling company, which is imperative to its success. Being part of Top Tech Yorkshire 2025 is a great way to help these exciting companies reach their full potential.”
Also, onboard as a mentor is Georgie Linskey, founder & director of G&T (girls and tech!), the biggest community of female techies in the North. Georgie is passionate about diverse hiring to attract and retain female tech talent.
Ross and Georgie are just two of around 20 experienced tech sector experts who have committed to mentor and support Top Tech members.
To become a member of the Top Tech programme, businesses will need to complete a submission which explains how they demonstrate or harness technological innovation, their ambitions for the future, and where they fit into the Yorkshire technology eco-system.
The Top Tech membership submissions window closes on Friday 8 November. Member businesses will then be invited to a series of networking and mentoring events, and benefit from the profile-raising platform provided by our mentors and supporters and their fellow members.
