CINCINNATI (ENQUIRER) – U.S. News & World Report just released its ranking of the best hospitals in the country, and Christ Hospital was named the No. 1 hospital in Cincinnati, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
The outlet used hospital performance metrics such as mortality rates and preventable complications to evaluate 5,000 hospitals across the country. Of them, 11% earned the best hospitals designation.
“We are honored, once again, to be recognized as the best hospital in the Greater Cincinnati region for the 10th consecutive year by U.S. News & World Report,” said Debbie Hayes, president and CEO of Christ Hospital.
St. Elizabeth’s Edgewood-Covington hospitals also made the best hospitals list and were ranked second in Cincinnati.
Here are the best hospitals in Ohio, according to their place on the U.S. News & World Report.
Christ Hospital was the only Cincinnati hospital to make the list, and it tied for fifth place with Cleveland Clinic’s Akron General.
