The Boston Celtics will visit the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center tonight. This will be the second meeting of the season between these teams with the 76ers winning their previous matchup. However, the Celtics are currently clicking as a team, and the 76ers will miss Joel Embiid tonight. From the looks of it, this could be an easy victory for Boston.

– Moneyline: Celtics (-405) vs 76ers (+320)
– Spread: Celtics (-9.5) vs 76ers (+9.5)
– Total (O/U): Celtics -110 (O 221.5) vs 76ers -110 (U 221.5)
(Note: Odds are correct at the time of writing and likely to change.)
– Jayson Tatum is projected to miss his prop of 25.5 points tonight. However, the 76ers are one of the weakest teams on defense. There’s no reason why an MVP candidate like Tatum can’t put 25+ past the 76ers, so we expect him to surpass his projection of 25.3 points tonight.
– Bookmakers predict that Yabusele will also miss his prop of 21.5 points + assists + rebounds tonight. But, it is worth noting that Joel Embiid is out with a knee injury and Andre Drummond won’t be seeing a lot of playing time. So, Yabusele will have more opportunities to be involved in the offense and could easily surpass his prop.
The Boston Celtics are coming into this game after two commanding victories over the New Orleans Pelicans and the Chicago Bulls. They are also 6-4 over their last 10 and are slowly getting out of the slump they found themselves in a couple of weeks ago. Jaylen Brown has been a key factor in helping the team get back on track and has averaged 24.6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists over his last five games.
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers are short on momentum as they are 4-6 over their last 10. The 76ers also suffered a heartbreaking loss during their most recent game against the Nuggets. It seems unlikely that they’ll be able to turn things around against an opponent as tough as the Boston Celtics.
Our prediction: The 76ers will win
