The Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers meet in primetime for Game 3 Saturday evening with both sides hoping to grab the edge in what is currently a 1-1 series. The Celtics are hoping to bounce. back after a dismal showing in Game 2, while the Cavaliers hope to hold serve on their home floor after grabbing a split in Boston.
Here’s a look at some of our favorite player prop bets to target for Game 3 Saturday, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
White was on fire in Game 1 before going completely cold in Game 2. That’s typically how life goes for volume three-point shooters but there’s confidence the veteran guard can bounce back. White had a similar lull in the first round against the Heat, although it was Game 4 of that series where he really took off. I believe he’ll be able to cross this line tonight, although it remains to be seen whether he can do this efficiently.
The big man has gone over this mark in both games so far this series. Mobley remains the most pivotal big man for Cleveland with Jarrett Allen out, and I think he continues to be aggressive in this matchup. The Celtics didn’t have an answer for him in Game 2 and even if there’s some defensive adjustments, I think Mobley should have some success offensively. I like him to stay over this line Saturday.
Brown was a factor on the glass in the first few games this postseason but has taken a backseat to Jayson Tatum and Al Horford. The forward is averaging 5.3 rebounds per game over the last four contests, going under this line each time. I think Brown will be more focused on the offensive end in Game 3, which will limit his aggression on the glass. I see him going under this line again tonight.
If you’ve been looking at Garland assist props for the playoffs, it’s been frustrating. He’s been bouncing back and forth on this particular line, going over just three times in nine games. However, he has three unders at five assists. There’s no reason to believe he’ll magically find that sixth assist tonight but the Cavaliers will look for him to be more involved in this offense. I think he looks to get shooters involved and Cleveland’s role players knock a few more perimeter shots down playing at home. That should get Garland past this line.
