District basketball action has kicked into full gear in the Wichita Falls area with some girls districts passing the halfway point of their season.
Below are Wichita Falls-area high school basketball scores and top performers from Tuesday, including a spotlight on 12 standout players.

Meekins was in fine form Tuesday, scoring 43 points in an 81-35 victory against Archer City, keeping the Lady Indians undefeated in District 9-2A.
White remains red hot shooting the ball, scoring 30 points in a 79-57 victory against Eagle Mountain in District 7-4A action. Teammate Ozavian Buford complemented with a 23-point performance.
Horton has scored 51 points in her last two games combined, including a 27-point performance in a 60-41 victory against District 9-2A rival Electra.
Reed scored inside and out during Legacy’s 60-35 victory against Memorial, dropping 20 points and giving the Leopards bragging rights for winning the first Crosstown Showdown matchup between WFISD’s first-year programs.
The Lady Panthers needed every bit of O’Neal’s 31-point performance in a 57-55 victory against Bellevue in District 18-A action.
Britt put together a strong 24-point performance against Henrietta, sparking Iowa Park to a 58-41 victory in the ultra-competitive District 7-3A.
Tullous had a prolific scoring night with 24 points, but the Tigerettes still came out on the wrong end of a 65-44 result against Vernon in District 7-3A action.
Jefferson led all scorers with 21 points, and City View took down rival Holliday 57-44 to remain unbeaten in District 7-3A.
Berry came alive for 20 points, and Holliday handed City View its first loss in District 7-3A action, 68-54. Teammate Eric Bristow posted a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Sanchez is quietly averaging more than 20 points per game for the Longhorns, scoring 25 in a 65-45 victory against Midway in District 18-A action.
The Pirates earned their first District 9-2A victory, 67-42 over Electra, on the back of a 24-point showing by Elledge.
Johnson delivered a 20-point performance in a 59-34 win over Bellevue, and Saint Jo (2-0) stayed unbeaten in the young District 18-A season.
