Alabama women’s basketball and coach Kristy Curry welcomed four top-100 recruits, all four star prospects on National Signing Day headlined by Miss. Basketball Ace Austin from instate program Spring Garden.
Here’s the four signees who will join the Crimson Tide program ahead of next season:
5-foot-7, Guard
Austin is the reigning Miss. Basketball in the state of Alabama and comes to Alabama has the 55th-ranked player by ESPN and is a four-star recruit. She is a three-time state champion and was the Gadsden Times player of the year.
6-foot-1, Guard
Chambers is a four star recruit and the 94th ranked player by ESPN.
6-foot-3, Forward
Costa brings an international flair to the class but has been playing stateside at Montverde Academy. She is a four star recruit and the 51st-ranked player by ESPN. She has played for Sweden in junior competitions.
6-foot-3, Forward
Egbuna is the 97th ranked player by ESPN, and also a four star recruit. She earned All-Region honors in Texas and averaged a double-double as a junior.
