Three University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa tennis players will compete in the 2024 Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s (ITA) All-American Championships, September 21–29. Women’s tennis players Ana Vilcek and Nikola Homolkova, and men’s tennis player Azuma Visaya are set to represent UH Mānoa.
Homolkova and Vilcek will travel to Cary, North Carolina to compete at the Cary Tennis Park. Vilcek will kick-off the tourney in the Pre-Qualifying Round of 128 on September 21, while Homolkova will begin play in the Qualifying Round of 64 on September 22. Both players will also participate in the Pre-Qualifying Round of 32 on September 22.
This is the first time since 2019 that the Rainbow Wahine will compete in the ITA All-American Championships.
Visaya will make his Rainbow Warrior debut traveling to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to compete at the University of Tulsa’s Michael D. Case Tennis Center. The junior will start the competition in the Pre-Qualifying Round of 128.
