I am going to take a chance with first starter 6 Shmoov Moova (Bet Now: $2.80), who is on debut for the Simon Miller camp. He trialled over 950m last week at Lark Hill and I thought moved with real purpose in a strong piece of work, winning the trial and running time. Hard to beat against this lot I say.
Danger
2 Keep Ita Mystery (Bet Now: $7.00) has found winning form and appeals for Luke Fernie. That win came here a fortnight back. It was over 1000m and sat on speed, trucking in the run before being clicked up and was strong to the line in winning. If the extra 200m is fine, he’s a leading contender.
Long Shot
8 Fun In Hollywood (Bet Now: $61.00) is a daughter of Awesome Rock for Susan Oliver that is on debut. This girl had a 1000m trial here a few weeks back and seemed to move well enough to my eye when fourth, beaten a couple of lengths. Not sure she wins, but she can run top four.

6 Bravo Centurion (Bet Now: $2.45) has returned in beast mode for Luke Fernie and confident he can make it 3/3 to start the prep. Produced sustained speed from the front to win fresh at this track/distance before going to Pinjarra where he stepped up to 1200m and gapped them in an awesome display. Back in trip no issue, will press forward and take running down.
Danger
4 Made In Mexico (Bet Now: $2.80) can bounce back. Adam Durrant trained gelding that did more than enough in defeat two weeks ago and on face value, he let punters down, but he was nearer the inside, which wasn’t the A1 ground, so forgive and forget the run. If he can get a better run in transit, he bounces back.
Long Shot
3 Madam Kisses (Bet Now: $14.00) is a Donna Riordan trained mare that resumes. This girl is first up, having not raced since April 27 at Ascot when back last in the small field and did make up headway but was never really threatening behind Brave Strike. Resumes without a trial but can sprint well fresh.

Back Me
3 Hemlock Stone (Bet Now: $3.20) on top but not really a race I want to get involved in. Team Williams trained gelding that did enough fresh behind Miss Drakova before going to 1400m here two weeks ago and kept finding the line in a pretty good return behind Deferred. Hard fit now and up to the mile, he appeals.
Danger
1 Super Romani (Bet Now: $3.30) has been up a little while but is holding his form really well for the Pearce camp. He ran over this track/distance a fortnight back when off speed and doing no work before angling clear and was quite good late in the piece. Hard to beat if he can settle a pair closer in the run.
Long Shot
4 Arnie’s Boy (Bet Now: $14.00) should appreciate a rise in trip. He came back to 1200m two weeks back where he got a suck run on the fence but failed to get involved, lacking the change up speed to go with them late. Back up in trip, his best is more than good enough.

4 Lova Session (Bet Now: $4.20) hasn’t won in forever it seems like but that said, she is flying for Adam Durrant and should prove hard to beat against these. Three weeks between runs since racing over 1400m here when just off the speed and loomed large to win but couldn’t quite get there when second to Cruise To Victory. Hard to beat against this lot and is deserving of a win.
Danger
2 Watch Me Rock (Bet Now: $2.80) commands respect for Team Williams. He resumed at Northam where he got a decent enough run in transit and in a driving go under the apprentice, the gelding found and was impressive late. Harder here, but good upside and in a leading camp.
Long Shot
11 Requisition (Bet Now: $31.00) is one I can entertain at odds. Resumed two weeks back here when down the track behind Russian Sniper when getting the suck run behind the speed and tried hard. Safely held but was only beaten under two lengths in a good return. Not sure I could back him to win but a must for exotics.

6 Deferred (Bet Now: $2.05) is flying for Simon Miller and rates as one of the hardest to beat. He stepped up to this trip two weeks ago and lapped it up, giving them a start and a beating in an electric performance. There doesn’t seem to be any drop off from him, so he is the one they have to beat.
Danger
4 Tenacious Reward (Bet Now: $6.00) would be a good thing if this track was firm. That said, on a wet track, he still commands serious respect. He ran second to Deferred a fortnight back, letting down hard but couldn’t quite get there behind the in form gelding. Bursting to win.
Long Shot
1 Manavendra (Bet Now: $6.00) looks to be in for a good prep for Team Pearce. He resumed over 1200m here two weeks back where he got to near last in the run and worked home with real purpose late in the piece behind Ice Pick Nick. Fitter and up in trip, he appeals as a winning chance.

3 Sonoftheboss (Bet Now: $3.10) is one of the hardest to beat for Jim Taylor. He ran behind Sentimental Belle three weeks ago, settling near the speed throughout and tried hard but couldn’t quite get there when third to the Team Williams mare. Only has to hold his form and he takes beating against these.
Danger
5 Leniency (Bet Now: $7.00) will put himself on speed and give his all. He resumed a fortnight back at this track/distance when outside the speed throughout and was game but couldn’t quite get the win when second to Ice Pick Nick. Good racing style, good upside, appeals for sure.
Long Shot
9 Honey Dew (Bet Now: $21.00) looks suited back to 1200m. Three weeks between runs since racing over 1400m here when trying her guts out but seven furlongs saw her out when tiring behind Captain Pluto. Like her back in trip and her best is more than good enough.

4 Cruise To Victory (Bet Now: $4.40) is the way I am leaning. Team Williams trained gelding that is three weeks between runs since winning over 1400m here, getting the sweet sit in transit before angling clear and knuckled down with purpose late to win and win well. He’s flying and seems the straight bat option.
Danger
10 Soso Lucky…(Bet Now: $2.90) beware the unbeaten horse. 2/2 to start her career and this Team Pearce trained mare has been quite dynamic each time she has stepped out. Bolted up on debut at Bunbury before proving that was no fluke at Belmont just over two weeks ago. Good test here, but confident she measures up.
Long Shot
2 Miss Drakova (Bet Now: $11.00) is a ripper for Neville Parnham and rates highly. This mare ran over 1300m here four weeks ago where she was just off the speed and tried her guts out but couldn’t quite get there when second to impressive winner Little Silver. Stays at the trip, which should be fine and is holding her form really well.

I am going to speck 4 Kaptain Kaos (Bet Now: $26.00), who resumes for Peter Giadresco after formerly being with Lindsey Smith. He didn’t really fire a shot when last in work but I will say he was poorly placed in tough races. Now in the new camp, back in WA and with two trials under the belt, plus gets Pike fresh, I do think there is intent and he handles wet ground.
Danger
3 Saloon Bar (Bet Now: $4.50) is flying for Dan Morton and rates as one of the hardest to beat. He comes through the Newmarket from a fortnight back. He got off the speed and found the line with purpose late in the piece when second to Boots Like Bruce. Hard fit and up in trip, hard to beat.
Long Shot
5 Ginger Baker (Bet Now: $14.00) is a swimmer and despite being first up, gee he’s quite dangerous. He resumes, having not raced since June 15 when placing in the Strickland over 2000m here. He does save his best for Belmont, he has residual fitness and he is the swimmer of the field.
Chances are you’re about to lose.

4 Sensessional (Bet Now: $3.10) is a beauty for Team Williams and it’s hard to get away from him. He has won four on the bounce, the latest being two weeks ago at this track/distance where he knuckled down with real purpose late in the piece when getting the job done. Tricky draw but only has to hold his form and I think he wins again.
Danger
1 Falcon Trader (Bet Now: $8.00) is a Brett Pope trained gelding that is flying and commands respect. He ran second to Sensessional a fortnight back, sitting just off the speed and presented to win but couldn’t quite get there and had to settle for a second. He’ll be around the mark.
Long Shot
8 Fine Touch (Bet Now: $11.00) is four weeks between runs for Ross Prince since racing at this track/distance when off the speed in a slowly run race and tried hard, but the race shape was against her behind Ginger Green. Good track/distance record, more genuine tempo, dangerous for sure.
