I’m quite keen on first starter 7 Autumn Glow (Bet Now: $3.40). She looked a good thing on Wednesday and it’s very rare you see Waller throw them in the deep end like this, but the way she has been trialling, I think she has the potential to be a filly that will reach blacktype. I have no doubt that if J Mac could get down to 52.5kg, he rides her. Schiller on is fine and I just think, despite being on debut, she’s better than these.
Danger
5 Dawn Service (Bet Now: $2.50) looks a nice three year old heading in the right direction for GaiBott. Thought he did more than enough on debut on the Kenso at Randwick before going to Hawkesbury where he found the front, had control and he gapped them in the straight for a sharp win. Looks the leader and takes running down.
Long Shot
I want to give 3 Getafix (Bet Now: $7.00) another chance for the O’Shea/Charlton camp. Market said he would need the run when resuming at Rosehill four weeks ago and he ran accordingly when fourth to Mayfair, but that said, he didn’t disgrace himself at all. Better for the run under the belt and if he’s going to contest better races, he’d want to be winning a race like this. Giving him another look.

1 Peace Officer (Bet Now: $5.50) should love getting to 1500m and is one of the hardest to beat. Clarry Conners trained gelding that ran in the Midway over 1400m here two weeks ago. He just got left flat footed when the sprint went on but he picked up and was quite good to the line behind The Extreme Cat. Like him back up in trip and with a more positive ride, he takes beating.
Danger
3 The Extreme Cat (Bet Now: $3.10) is a slight query at 1500m but he is the one with a touch of quality about him and won the Midway a fortnight back, getting a peach steer from J Mac and in a driving go, he was too good. If the 1500m is okay for him, class will carry him a long way towards victory.
Long Shot
5 Putt For Dough (Bet Now: $12.00) is a consistent animal for Mick Attard that should be around the mark. He ran in the Midway two weeks back won by The Extreme Cat. He was just off the speed and kept chasing in a pretty good effort behind the Doyle galloper. I think he can settle closer near the speed and still be effective at the end.

22 Acheson (Bet Now: $7.50) looks a very promising animal for Keith Dryden. He is 2/2 this time in, winning impressively fresh at Moruya before going to Gundagai where he was backed as if he was unbeatable and duly saluted, winning quite comfortably. Harder here, but extremely confident he can measure up.
Danger
14 Intervarsity (Bet Now: $3.90) is a good mare that has to be given another look. This mare resumed in the Highway here a fortnight back won by Lonhro’s Queen, and I want to be forgiving of her because she just seemed to resent racing between runners and inside, so forgive and forget. She has credits in the bank from last prep so I am not penning her.
Long Shot
16 Giving Delight (Bet Now: $21.00) is dangerous at odds for Rod Northam. She ran in the Highway won by Lonhro’s Queen. She just got too far back in the run but I really liked the way she finished her race off in defeat behind the Cam Crockett galloper. If she can settle closer in the run, she has the finale to win.

1 Way To The Stars (Bet Now: $5.50) is a talented animal resuming for Matty Smith. He is first up, having not raced since Dec 9 over 1100m at Randwick when thrown in the deep end and he didn’t disgrace himself in defeat behind Brudenell, a subsequent Stakes winner and Group l performer. Flies fresh and has looked great in trial work.
Danger
8 Lost (Bet Now: $2.60) commands respect for me. James Cummings trained mare that resumed over 1000m at Warwick Farm where she gave them a start and a beating, letting down with good change up speed and was quite impressive in her return. Good test here, but confident she measures up.
Long Shot
5 Nosey Parker (Bet Now: $15.00) was sneaky flying for Paul Perry and it wasn’t a total shock that he won here two weeks back, giving them a start and a beating from last, winding up hard late out wide to win and win well. He’ll be spotting them a start again but if he gets a drag into the race, he can launch again and win.

5 Sequestered (Bet Now: $3.70) should take beating for James Cummings. This mare resumed three weeks ago at Randwick and I think you can make a case to say she wins if she had clear air in the straight instead of getting held up and only getting room late when a close up third to Cadetship. Has good upside to come and is the one for me.
Danger
9 Nanshe (Bet Now: $5.00) is one of the key chances. James Cummings trained mare that ran here a fortnight back at this trip. She got into a lovely spot near the speed and tried her guts out but couldn’t quite finish the job when a narrow second to I Am Famous. Knocking on the door to win in town and commands respect.
Long Shot
3 Junequeira (Bet Now: $16.00) comes here on the seven day back up for the O’Shea/Charlton camp after racing last Saturday at Randwick. She should have been in the finish IMO but just didn’t get the clearest of paths in the straight behind Cosy Corner in a bunched finish. Like her up in trip and the depth here, as a whole, isn’t deep.

I reckon the set up is there for 1 Shangri La Express (Bet Now: $6.00) to run really well fresh for GaiBott. He has looked great in a couple of trials for the return and was an outstanding winner of the Golden Gift at the track/distance. I think he can carve over, land in front and be hard to get past.
Danger
2 Gatsby’s (Bet Now: $4.00) looks to have come back in outstanding order and should take a power of beating. Chris Waller trains this three year old, who resume after a failed prep in the Autumn to force his way into the Slipper, failing as favourite in the Pago Pago. His trial work to get ready has been outstanding and I reckon he could easily make a statement with a win here.
Long Shot
7 Winning Proposal (Bet Now:
$SP.00) is an interesting runner. Kristen Buchanan trained three year old that has been kept on ice, having not raced since July 6 at Randwick when off speed and kept chasing but was held late behind Brave One. Liked a recent trial win here and I think her only chance is if they let her slide on speed.

6 Terra Mater (Bet Now: $4.60) looks to be humming for Jarrod Austin. This mare seems best suited as a sprinter and with a good break under the belt, followed by two trials, where she has looked to jog each time, I think she’s in for a really good prep and I’ll back her to kick off the prep with a win.
Danger
1 Bubba’s Day (Bet Now: $7.00) is an improving type for Kris Lees. This mare resumed behind Fleetwood three weeks ago where the market said she’d need the run and while she didn’t win, and the market got it right, I thought she ran a very credible race in defeat. Fitter, firmer track, hard to beat.
Long Shot
7 Dalaalaat (Bet Now: $18.00) has to be given another look for Matty Dale. This gelding ran two weeks back over 1300m here when wide no cover throughout on the decent speed and that early burn just told late in the piece, finishing down the track behind Contemporary. If that hasn’t busted him, he can threaten.

6 Tom Kitten (Bet Now: $3.90) has come back as a gelding and looks to have returned in beast mode for a big Spring. He resumes for James Cummings after a frustrating Autumn where he promised to win good races but didn’t quite go on with it. Gelded and his trial work has been outstanding. Ready to go I say.
Danger
11 Chorlton Lane… (Bet Now: $5.00) is he nearing D-Day? He ran a few weeks back over 1300m here where he seemingly had every chance in transit but just couldn’t quite finish the job when close up in defeat behind Robusto. He is a good horse but his last couple of runs have let punters down. He’s nearing last chance territory.
Long Shot
12 Cuban Royale (Bet Now: $21.00) is bursting to win for Team Price. He ran over 1300m here two weeks ago and was very good, again, from the back. He got too far out of his ground but his finale was very good in restricted room behind the in form Contemporary. Hard fit now and up to 1400m, I say he takes beating.
Chances are you’re about to lose.

Back Me
1 Etna Rosso (Bet Now: $4.00) has returned in outstanding order and should take beating here for Chris Waller. He resumed three weeks ago at Randwick over 1800m when looming large from off the speed and looked the winner but first up, condition just couldn’t quite see it through behind Enotis. Fitter, home deck, hard to beat.
Danger
11 Monarchs Brae (Bet Now: $9.00) is one of the hardest to beat. Chris Waller trained gelding that ran over 2000m here two weeks ago and I thought was given a 12/10 by Clark from the gate but he just couldn’t quite see it through when second to stablemate Matusalem. Back slightly in trip suits and is holding his form really well.
Long Shot
20 The Englishman (Bet Now: $11.00) is bursting to win one for Peter Snowden. He was close up in defeat two back at Randwick before racing at the midweeks last Wednesday at Canterbury and he should have won but just had zero luck in the straight. Convinced he is racing well, knocking on the door and strikes a winnable race

15 Lord Of Biscay (Bet Now: $6.50) should love the rise to 1400m. This guy resumed over 1200m a few weeks ago where he got back off the speed and while he was never threatening, he kept finding the line in a pretty good effort behind Iron Man. Fitter and up to 1400m…might want one more run, but I do think he has above average talent and can take beating here.
Danger
12 High Blue Sea (Bet Now: $14.00) will put himself on speed and take running down. He did that two weeks back here when sitting outside eventual winner Secret Plan and tried his guts out but just couldn’t quite see it through. That was his first run in a few weeks so with room for improvement, he’s dangerous.
Long Shot
18 Canadian Ruler (Bet Now: $46.00) is a son of Vancouver for Bjorn Baker that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since Feb 10 here when leading the field of seven and didn’t quite finish the race off behind Ceerseven. His trial work has been so so but does have a touch of quality so watch the market.
