The WNBA has its last large slate of the first half before its All-Star Game on Saturday and break for the Olympics.
Once again, the WNBA gifts us a staggered schedule throughout the day and evening. There is also a Prime Video doubleheader at night among the four contests on the schedule.
US betting sites have markets for Washington’s match-up with Phoenix from the nation’s capital at 11:30 am ET.
That game is televised in the D.C. area on Monument TV. After that, Seattle plays in Los Angeles at 3:30 pm. Then Connecticut and New York clash again, this time at the Barclays Center.

The final game of the night is Las Vegas and Chicago, which is a battle between Angel Reese and the Aces’ frontcourt.
Now, that is an entertaining finale to what figures to be quite an afternoon and evening of basketball.
Our Team at The Panel has checked out the stats, guides, and key players ahead of Tuesday’s WNBA schedule to consider in the following three betting predictions.
The New York Liberty continues to do things a little differently. It is their balance that scares people. The Liberty can play defense when they have to.
Suddenly, the team can turn on the offensive jets as well as Connecticut found out last week and Chicago twice also.
New York edged Connecticut 71-68 as the Under easily cruised to victory. Sportsbooks dangled the carrot by moving the number down several points.
Connecticut faces a daunting task as the Liberty are 11-1 at home on the season. The Sun is 8-2 on the road, though.
Sportsbooks shifted the Moneyline to New York at around -200. The spread has stayed between 4 and 4.5 points. Can the Sun finally beat the Liberty?
Connecticut is +170 on the Moneyline, and New York loves to press the pace at home.
Leaning on the Sun may not be so wise, but a small wager on the Over here is not a bad idea, given the pace of this game may be more like the first meeting (157 combined points).
The Panel Pick 1: Connecticut and New York Over 153.5 Points – BetMGM -110

WNBA basketball Tuesday goes right to the nightcap. Subtle is often not our strong suit, but since a 6-6 start, the Las Vegas Aces have looked more like the defending two-time WNBA champions.
Not only have the Aces won 10 of their previous 11 games, but they are covering. Also, nine of those victories have been by double digits.
The Aces average 88.9 points per game but have played a bit of defense over the last three contests. The Under, set by the best betting sites, has connected each time.
What does one do when a team knows a long “Olympic Break” is coming? Las Vegas next plays on August 17.
Las Vegas has only played Chicago once, and that was an entertaining 95-83 win in Chicago. Vegas is coming off a three-game road swing.
Do they open things up a bit more at home? A’ja Wilson, Jackie Young, and Kelsey Mitchell are quite a trio. Angel Reese and company had immense trouble against them in meeting number one.
If the Aces come out fast early, then Chicago is again in deep deep trouble. However, Chicago could stay close here. Take the points.
The Panel Pick 2: Chicago Sky +13.5 Points – FanDuel -110
The Seattle Storm can be one of the best teams in the WNBA. However, their poor start against the Las Vegas Aces last week is again troubling.
Then, there is the frustration of watching them blow out a Minnesota team they had lost their three previous meetings to. The Storm are playing pretty well overall and they are 16-8 and have won seven of their previous nine contests.
Seattle still carry the second-best pace in the league at 79.7 and are fourth defensively in points per game (77.4). At times, they can be downright stifling on defense (see Minnesota, where they yielded 63 points).
Now, the dilemma is where to go with a pick. Los Angeles can win at home (upset Las Vegas) but is only 4-7 there and 6-17 overall.
Seattle can easily top 85 points and had 95 in their first meeting. Suddenly, that Over for the Storm to score 86 or more is a play here.
The Panel Pick 3: Seattle To Score Over 85.5 Points – DraftKings -120
