LILBURN, Ga. – The Central Washington University Women’s Basketball Team has cracked the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Top 25 Poll for the first time in the 2024-25 season making their debut at 24 in the poll with 64 points.
The Wildcats join Montana State Billings (11-1) who’s ranked 3rd with 470 points. Fellow GNAC member Alaska Anchorage is just outside the top 25 with 36 points. The top 11 in the poll didn’t change with Grand Valley State, Texas Woman’s, MSUB, and Gannon remaining the top four with Bentley and Fort Hays State tied for 5th.
The Wildcats are currently 7-0 on the season and 1-0 in GNAC play. CWU opens their holiday break in Southern California today at 9th-ranked Cal State Dominguez Hills at 2:00 p.m. They continue tomorrow at 5:30 at Cal State Los Angeles who is ranked just outside the top 25 and then conclude on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Biola.
