The Las Vegas Raiders have a roster capable of competing for a playoff spot in 2024, but who are the team’s three-best players entering the upcoming campaign?
Pro Football Focus’ Trevor Sikkema constructed his list of Vegas’ three best players and chose wide receiver Davante Adams, offensive tackle Kolton Miller, and edge rusher Maxx Crosby.
Here’s what Sikkema had to say about the three:
It was a down year for the Raiders’ offense, as no player earned an overall grade above 82.0. Davante Adams recorded his lowest receiving grade since 2017, but a lot of that was beyond his control — even if PFF grades are there to judge beyond production. He’s still Davante Adams.
Kolton Miller earned the highest overall offensive grade on the team (81.1), marking his third straight year of topping 81.0.
Maxx Crosby was once again brilliant, earning an 82.7 overall grade with a 92.7 run-defense grade.
It’s hard to argue with Sikkema’s list, as those would be my picks.
Adams has been one of the NFL’s best and most consistent wide receivers, tallying five 1,000-yard seasons since 2018. Miller has established himself as one of the better pass-protecting left tackles, scoring an 82.45 pass-blocking grade since 2020. Lastly, Maxx Crosby is an absolute game-wrecker who has totaled 27 sacks and 175 QB pressures in the past two seasons.
Other players who could be considered for the list include defensive tackle Christian Wilkins and edge rusher Malcolm Koonce. Both will be pivotal pieces on the Raiders’ defensive line alongside Maxx Crosby.
