Root was dismissed on 262 after equaling Sachin Tendulkar’s double century record and becoming first England batter to score 20000 runs in international cricket.
Harry Brook (317) on the other hand, has been at his destructive best smashing sixes all over the ground and has now scored a triple-century, breaking Virender Sehwag’s 309 record at Multan from 2004.
