The Arkle Chase is the first race over the larger obstacles at the Cheltenham Festival as leading novices attempt to jump their way to the prestigious prize.
Named in honour of one of the great National Hunt horses, the Arkle is a fast-and-furious contest as there are 13 fences to be tackled at speed on the Old Course.
Gaelic Warrior dispelled concerns over his preference for jumping right by landing last year’s renewal and this season’s edition looks like being a red-hot renewal with some promising horses in contention.
Arkle Chase odds can be found on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise all the key details for this year’s renewal are below.
The Arkle Chase is set to take place at Cheltenham on Tuesday, 11th March.
The Arkle Chase post time is scheduled for 14:00.
You can watch the Arkle Chase live on paddypower.com and the Paddy Power app or on ITV1.

Sir Gino is the favourite with Paddy Power to win the Arkle Chase after a scintillating debut over fences when he smashed Ballyburn in the Wayward Lad Novices’ Chase at Kempton over Christmas.
Triumph Hurdle hero Majborough is next in our early betting after catching the eye with an impressive round of jumping when winning a Beginners Chase at Fairyhouse in December.
*Odds quoted on the widget are Future Racing / Antepost prices which means that if your selection does not run in the race for whatever reason – you will lose your stake under traditional Antepost rules
