The entrepreneurial, tech and philanthropist world is mourning the biggest loss it has seen. The passing away of Indian industrialist, philanthropist and former chairman of Tata Sons, Ratan Tata has left the global economy in great grief.
On this momentous loss, global tech leaders, including Sundar Pichai and Bill Gates have paid tribute to Ratan Tata, one of India’s most iconic industrialists, who passed away at the age of 86 on October 9, 2024.
Padma Vibhushan awarded Ratan Tata has marked his presence with impeccable leadership and his significant contributions to the Tata Group in both business and charity. He took the Tata group overseas and the company matured into an Indian icon of industrial growth. However, apart from his contributions to business he had loud philanthropic endeavours and pushed for nationalist movements. Presumably, in response to the death of its visionary founder, many people sent their condolences. With the demise of Ratan Tata, the world has truly lost an absolute legend who changed the course of history and will be remembered for years.
