Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is one of the most accomplished players in the NFL, and added to his already-impressive resume when the defending Super Bowl champions faced the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8.
When Mahomes hit newly acquired wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins for a 16-yard gain against the Raiders just before halftime, the reigning Super Bowl MVP became the fastest player in league history to throw for 30,000 yards.
Mahomes has led the Chiefs to a 6-0 record in the 2024 regular season, and while his latest accomplishment is among his most outstanding, a Super Bowl three-peat remains his ultimate goal.
Fans in Kansas City were thrilled to see Mahomes make history against Las Vegas and were quick to react to his newest record.
