SIOUX FALLS and BRANDON, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -It was a busy night Tuesday in Boys Basketball with #1AA Lincoln, #2AA Brandon Valley and #1A SF Christian all in action.
The Patriots shot 71% from the floor in the first half making 10 of 14 3-pointers and roared to a 45-12 lead over the home team. And they didn’t let up in the second half with Brody Schaefer starting and finishing the period with a bomb. They went on to win in impressive fashion 80-35, scoring 37 points inn the second half with a running clock.
At the Brandon Valley gym the #2 Lynx hosted Marshall, MN. And this game was close throughout with the Lynx prevailing 65-60 to improve to 10-1 for the year.
And finally at the Sanford Pentagon for the Throwback Classic where both SF Christian and Tea Area boys and girls wore classic uniforms, the Titans hung with the #1 Chargers for a half. In fact they trailed just 33-30 late in the 2nd quarter. But SFC pulled away and won decisively 80-51 for their 11th straight win to start the season.
