CHAPEL HILL, N.C.—The defending Atlantic Coast Conference champion North Carolina women’s tennis program has signed two talented players and students to join the Tar Heel program, head coach Brian Kalbas announced on Wednesday.
Alanis Hamilton and Claire Hill, both rated as blue-chip recruits and ranked among the top dozen incoming recruits in the nation, will enroll at UNC in January 2025 and begin competing for the Tar Heels immediately in the spring dual match season.
“Alanis and Claire are two incredibly talented players and better individuals with supportive families who we’re excited to have come into our program,” Kalbas says. “We’re excited for them to start in January. They’re both graduating early to help us this year, and we couldn’t be more excited for them to join our Tar Heel family and help us this spring.”

I’m confident that their guidance, along with the competitive atmosphere, will not only help me develop as a person but also push me toward my goals of becoming a professional tennis player.”
