Strange things are happening in New Jersey.
And it has nothing to do the lousy football seasons by the NFL’s Jets and Giants.
The mystery drones that have been buzzing the Garden State (and Staten Island as well) have caught the attention of Jets QB Aaron Rodgers.
Appearing on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Rodgers said, “Do you know what’s been going on in New Jersey lately? And I’m not talking about the football. There’s been some crazy things going on.”
Mysterious drones have buzzed New Jersey, including over a military base and President-elect Donald Trump’s golf club in Bedminster.
The drones, reportedly as big as mid-size cars, have also been spotted over Staten Island, leading some to wonder whether it’s OK to shoot the devices down.
“There’s some drones in the sky,” Rodgers said, per NJ.com.
Rodgers, who reported seeing a UFO years ago, didn’t rule out that aliens were behind the drones.
“I’m thinking about having a Friday night 5-E experience,” Rodgers said.
“It’s where you have a big kind of meditation circle and then you call in the aliens and you use little green lasers to bring them in,” Rodgers said. “So thinking Friday night, if it’s a nice night, clear night, having a little 5-E experience to bring ‘em in.”
McAfee’s producers had earlier run footage of an unidentified aircraft flying over Bedminster.
“Here we go,” Rodgers said. “Look at this, cued up. What the hell is that?”
“It’s an airplane,” Rodgers’ former teammate, AJ Hawk, said.
“It’s a helicopter,” McAfee said.
“That’s large,” Rodgers said. “What is that? … I’ve seen that video. Bedminster, that’s home to Trump’s golf course and our owner, Woody Johnson. So who knows, maybe those guys are …”
McAfee speculated again that it could just be footage of a helicopter.
“Is that a helicopter,” Rodgers said. “Is that what that is? … There’s other videos that I’ve seen and I’ve talked to some friends of mine, a police officer — shout out, Mario — there’s some interesting things going on. Interesting things going on with the drones.”
He said, “Maybe it’s just some kids messing around … maybe not, though.”
Rodgers also speculated the drones could be Trump trying to get down to Florida quickly for a round of golf, or wealthy rich people messing with people from a bunker.
