Syracuse, N.Y. — Ryder Frost, a top 100 prospect in the Class of 2025, will announce his college decision on Friday, the website 247sports.com announced Tuesday. The announcement will happen at 4 p.m. on 247′s YouTube channel.
Frost, a 6-foot-6 guard from Beverly, Massachusetts, made an official visit to Syracuse late last June. The 247sports staff ranks him the 97th best player in his high school class.
He will choose from a list that includes Notre Dame, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, Virginia Tech and SU. He has made official visits to all of those schools.
Frost has been described by recruiting analysts as a skilled 3-point shooter with perimeter size. He attends Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire and played on the Under Armour summer circuit for the Middlesex Magic.
SU has secured a commitment in the Class of 2025 from Sadiq White, a 6-foot-8 forward who 247 ranks 26th overall in the class. The Orange, too, are still pursuing shooting guard Kiyan Anthony (34th in the class) and small forward Shon Abaev (29th in the class).
