Regarded as one of the best tight ends of all time, Travis Kelce has been selected for the Pro Bowl nine times and made seven All-Pro selections, of which four are first team and three are second team. Mark Andrews has been inducted into the Pro Bowl three times, and he made it to the All-Pro Team in 2021 after he broke the Ravens’ single-season record for receptions and receiving yards. In Week 6 this year, while playing against the Washington Commanders, Andrews took a 13-yard touchdown pass, tying Todd Heap in the total of received touchdowns in the history of the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens would have gone on to win that match with the score 30-23. The week after that, playing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Andrews managed to seal two receiving touchdowns and overambitious beat Heap as the leading Ravens of all time in receiving touchdowns as the Ravens would go on to win that 41-31 contest.
Sam LaPorta has been named a 2024 Pro Bowl Games selection. He has also earned a Second-team All-Pro nomination from the Associated Press. LaPorta was also a finalist for the Pepsi Zero Sugar NFL Rookie of the Year Award.
LaPorta set a number of Lions records as a rookie. He broke records for receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns held for a tight end overall, and also those for Lion rookie tight ends. His 10 receiving touchdowns also stood as the record for Lions rookies all-time. He was a finalist for the Offensive Rookie of the Year. He is a member of the PFWA All-Rookie Team. In his first postseason game, LaPorta scored a receiving touchdown in the Wild Card Round victory against the Rams.
Week 2 of the 2024 NFL season saw Trey McBride stealing the limelight with six catches out of six attempts to garner 67 yards, as well as fumble recovery for touchdown in a 41-10 thrashing of the Los Angeles Rams. Then, in Week 10, Kincaid sustained a knee injury during the victory over the Indianapolis Colts at 30-20. Kincaid missed the Week 11 victory 30-21 over Kansas City Chiefs and the Week 13 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers even though he had a bye week to rest in Week 12.
